WEBENCH® Tools/TPS54719: Changing the fsw of TPS54719

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I simulated TPS54719 under Vin=5.5V, Vout=0.9V, Iout=3.5A and Fsw=1.9MHz.

But I couldn't simulate for the error of "optimization data is not available for this design!".

What is the cause of this message(this device's spec or webench's error)?

Hi Yokota-san,

Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

You were seeing the issue because the Minimum on time of the device TPS54719 was being violated at 1.9 MHz at 5.5V Vin,0.9V Vout,3.5A Iout condition.

We have made changes to frequency ceiling(maximum switching frequency) calculations and now it is working fine. For the above input-output conditions, the maximum switching frequency is now limited to 1.63 MHz taking minimum on time into account.

We will let you know once the changes are released to www.ti.com
