Hi there,

I'd like to simulate the SN74AVCB164245 with Tina but the only available model is a Hspice one.

what should I do to make it run under TINA ?

Do I have some parts to remove or change / adapt ?

Hi Paulo,

The HSpice model is encrypted and will not run in TINA-TI. Most similar devices are supported with an IBIS model which can be simulated with an IBIS compatible simulator.

The only remotely similar device that has a TINA-TI model that I could fine on www.ti.com/spicerack is www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

Hi,

I would like to simulate reflections and adjustment terminations over a transmission line.

The SN74LVC1T45 does not include the DOC (dynamic output Control) feature as the SN74AVCB164245 does.

So I wonder to what extent the DOC is implemented into the HSPICE model of SN74AVCB164245.

Would it be equivalent to simulate the SN74LVC1T45 without the DOC ?

Please advice.

I believe the HSPICE model includes the DOC behavior so it wouldn't be equaivalent to simulate the SN74LVC1T45 which does not have DOC.
