TIDA-01485: Power supply

Part Number: TIDA-01485

Hi,

i have a quick question.

I am not sure about what DC_FB is for?

It is connected to the powersupply section and the MCU analog input from my understanding. Also the caps from the BOM are just rated for 50V but the maximum input is 60V?

Thank you in advance

Kind regards

  • Hi Slash,

DC_FB is the signal corresponding to the DC bus voltage. DC_FB signal is fed to MCU for measuring the DC bus voltage.

The TIDA-01485 is designed for a 10 cell Li-ion battery voltage, where the maximum DC bus voltage will be around 42V, and that is the reason the capacitors are rated for 50V. The maximum input voltage to the board is 42V. The board cannot work at 60V.

    Best Regards,

    Manu
