PMP7976: UCD9248PFC

Part Number: PMP7976

Hello, TI, my VC709 power system is out of order. I replaced the new UCD9248PFC chip. It can't work. What else do I need to do? A request for help.

  • Hi Shifang,

UCD9248 is a digital PWM controller, and it requires user to import configuration data before it can work.

The configuration file is usually in xml or hex format. The vendor of VC709 should provide the configuration file for the design.

You will need to install Fusion Digital Power Designer GUI on your PC, and a USB-to-GPIO adapter to connect the board and the PC. The Fusion GUI will recognize the UCD9248 device on the board, and then you can download the configuration file into the device.

For more information, please refer to the UCD9248 product webpage.

  • Hello, I have never used and designed UCD9248 separately. What software do I need to install? Do I have a name? Is there a link to the files that need to be downloaded? Is the file available to download directly? It's still necessary to configure the voltage and current according to the CV709 parameter. Sorry for trouble, I hope you can help me solve it one by one, thank you very much for answering me. I hope to understand this UCD, and hope that my design will play a good role.
