TIDA-00524: Taking a measurement once scanning with NFC reader

Part Number: TIDA-00524

Hello,

I am using the coldchain code to work with TIDA 00524. I am getting sensors readings every polling interval, which is the minimum is 1 minute. However, I want to add extra interrupt to make the measurements happen every time I am reading out the data logger as long it is in start case. For example, if the data-logger collecting humidity and temperature sensors every 5 min, I want to add another interrupt to add extra real time measurement once I scan the data logger with the reader. I tried to play with p2.5 interrupt and added extra flag in there, but It didn't work for me.

My question: Is it possible to get real time measurements while scanning with keeping the polling interval pattern. and what is the best way to do it

your help will be appreciated

Thank you

  • Hi Aladdin,

The code distributed as part of the TI design is "as is", just a SW example to prove the functionality of the design. Any additional features that you need to add it's at your discretion.
Saying that I can recommend you to create a new post on the MSP430 forum and using the right MSP430 version as the relevant part number in the post to ask your question and the right support team will be involved at that point.

    Regards,
    Jose
