TIDA-00824: TIDA-00824

Part Number: TIDA-00824
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMT70

HI!

I would like to ask you!

Can i buy it somewhere TIDA-00824 product?

Where can i buy Hollow Metal Cap or what's name?

What is the thermally conductive epoxy product name?

How thick the Remote PCB and cooper on the Remote PCB? Is the Remote PCB a gold-plated board?

Is the Thermal Via filled up with  epoxy?

Why used Nickel Wires ?

Thanks for answer and sorry for my english!

  • TIDA-00824 is not for sale. Some TIDA are for sale, but most are not.

The metal cap was scrap piece found in our office. I don't have part number or name. Any similar cap should be suitable.

I recommend PCB less than 1mm thick. I recommend gold-plated PCB for assembly of DSBGA device like LMT70. Gold-plating isn't necessary for thermal performance.

It wouldn't be necessary to fill the vias with epoxy, but they most likely are filled. Expansion of epoxy could damage or alter performance of IC.

It's desirable in this application to use fine gauge wire greater than 30AWG for thermal conductivity.

    thanks,
    Ren
