TIDA-01465: Firmware for both the FDC2214 and MSP340

Hello,

The firmware for either the FDC2214 and the MSP340 is not provided for the reference design TIDA-01465 Capacitive Frost or Ice Detection Reference Design. Can you please provide it? I am currently assembling one and need the firmware for it. The engineer who designed this is Richard Wang.

Hi Richard,

Thank you for the email. I downloaded the GUI and it does have the appropriate firmware for the FDC2214. It looks like it's for the FDC2214 evaluation board. Will it also work with the TIDA-01465?

Also, I'm using the same MSP340 that the TIDA-01465 uses. Will that need firmware as well?

Hi Rizzo, sorry for a little bit late as I just come back from business trip. Yes, you are right, this firmware also work with TIDA-01465. Please just download this firmware via USB connector by GUI. Actually the firmware is for MSP430 and FDC2214 don't need firmware.
