Hello　E2E,

I analyzed to check turn on/off delay time and rise/fall time of spice model, but it was a very different value compared with the data sheet.

At the time of analysis, an ideal pulse (rise/fall time 1ns) was added to the gate, and a circuit was created according to the test condition described in the data sheet.

(Analysis value : Turn on delay time 5.5[ns], Rise time 3[ns], Turn off delay time 15[ns], Fall time 4.5[ns])

Is the turn on/off delay time and rise/fall time modeled in the spice model of the CSD18509Q5B element?

Hello Kato san,
Thanks for your interest in TI FETs. Switching times for the FET are very much dependent upon the external drive circuit as well as the device charge parameters and internal gate resistance. Device parameters are included in the model but the actual switching times are not. I think that the parameters included in the spice model are those that are set to be the values described in the datasheet when creating the circuit according to the test condition of the datasheet using OrCAD PSpice Designer, is not it different?

Hello Ryo Kato,
TI does not include the switching parameters in the PSpice model. The switching times published in the datasheet are from actual testing of a number of samples. As such, they are very dependent upon the driver strength, PCB layout and drain current used for the test. I can email you an unencrypted model for the CSD18509Q5B.
