TIDA-00484: TIDA-00484 PCB Design and BOM Files

Part Number: TIDA-00484

I want to use the altium project proposed by the company TI for the design of TIDA-00484, and when i see to the BOM file (http://www.ti.com/lit/df/tidrey6c/tidrey6c.pdf), some components (lines 50,55) are not well defined and labelled: "Used in BOM report". What that mean?. How i could replace theses elements while the manufacturing process.

Thank you

  • Ferdaous, hello and thank you for your interest in Texas Instruments' reference designs. I'm not sure what "Used in BOM report means as the description of the R and Cs are generically stated with no. However, I also noted that the specified quantity for lines 50 and 55 of the BOM are "0" which translates to a "DNP" or "Do Not Populate" on the schematic. Hence those rows of the BOM should be a "don't care" for you as the customer. I'll ask our Building Automation team that owns this design about the "Used in BOM report" label on the BOM.

    Best Regards,
