Hi,

We are trying to develop a top-down SLA printer. We've only found a few manufacturers making ready 405nm 1080p modules. But we want a more low cost alternative to test with.
Would it be possible to buy the TIDA-01226 evaluation module and switch the blue led to a 405nm led instead for 3d printing application? Or do you have a better suited evaluation module for this?

Hello Sebastian,

I would recommend taking a look at our optical module search tool available at DLP-OMM-SEARCH. This tool has many available optical engines, including some for 3D printing.

Thank you! But the link to the search tool seems to be broken, page is partially blank and I can't click the links.

We did try to contact Crystal Optech but never got a reply. The best bet seems to be SI-Cube, but it also seems like they took your eval module and swapped to a 405nm led, so we thought if we could do it as well. Will the optics block 405nm light or would it be fine to swap the blue led to a 405nm led?

I saw Srik mentioning in this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/dlp/f/94/p/745993/2761345#2761345?jktype=e2e. Early 0.47 modules optimized for 3D printing, is there any update regarding these? We would be happy to evaluate one!

Sorry to hear about the difficulties. To confirm, www.ti.com/.../DLP-OMM-SEARCH is the link you are unable to access? Could you please send a screenshot of what you are seeing? I made sure it worked on my side so I'm unsure what's wrong. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this!
