Hi,

can you please provide me the datasheet for the pulse electronics part T1 Pa4191?

Is it a customized device?

Is it possible to supply the flyback with 24V without changing T1?

Hi Jerome,

Please contact Pulse directly for the transformer (Wiest, David davidwiest@pulseelectronics.com).

The input range for the power supply is 19V to 30V, so 24V will work just fine.

Hi Robert,

thank you for your reply.
The input range in the schematic is given with 10 to 14Vdc.
So where do you see 19-to 30Volts?

Hi Jerome,

I made a mistake and looked up the wrong design (PMP10532).

You are right the input range is 10-14V, in order to change to 24V input and keep the same transformer, you would have to make a lot of other changes.

Probably changing the primary FET, the output rectifier, the input caps, snubber and maybe more.

A better choice might be to move to a design like PMP20588 or PMP7361, although both are higher power.

Again, sorry for the mistake on my end.
