TIDA-01250: Smart solenoid driver- IO-Link usage

Hello Yeshwanth,

the IO-Link is only for demonstration purpose. Theoretically, it can be used to configure the system, however, it is not implemented as such. For programming, the IO-Link firmware update described in TIDA-00461 might also be of interest.

Hello Alex,

So that means, I'll only be able to use the serial port for debugging, communication and operation.

IO-Link may not be functional? Could you let me know what could be the limitations in using ?

Yes, you are correct. We do have it tested with IO-Link demo stack from 3rd party. Please refer to it mentioned on TIDA-00188 (in the description field) and TIDA-00461 design guide in the feature list.
