Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hello TI team,

Dominik,
Thanks for your question. It seems the entry point has some issue with 150mA Iout and we will take a look into it. However, I have a LM5165-Q1 design shared link with Vin=10-48V, 5V Vout and 0.15A Iout: https://webench.ti.com/appinfo/webench/scripts/SDP.cgi?ID=D4F05E8B4A9E77EC f you would like to create designs at other inputs, you can change the inputs on the design that I shared with you.
Dominik,
Were you able to open the shared design link?
What are your input conditions? (VinMin, VinMax, Vout, Iout) and what issue are you facing?
Can you share a screenshot of the issue along with steps to reproduce the issue?
Regards,
Amod
Amod,
I am able to open the shared design link.
If you visit the webside of the part LM5165-Q1 and scroll down entering following conditions:
On the left side of the design tool it displays the the min an max switching frequency 100-600 kHz. If you go through the operating values its calculating a switching frequency of 787,45kHz.
Hi Dominik,
The device is operating in PFM mode due to low load current. We are looking into why the frequency is exceeding the maximum limit of 600KHz. We will keep you updated on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Praveen
Hi Dominik,
We have fixed the issue w.r.t frequency when the device operates in PFM mode. The changes will be available on ti.com by last week of January 2020.
Kindly let us know in case you have any queries.
Thanks & Regards,
Harish
Hey Harish,
thank you very much for listening, fixing the issue and the good support on that!
Thanks and Regards
Dominik
