TIDA-010038: Do you have a parameter calculation file?

Hi TI team,

Customer reviewed TIDA-010038. they try to design a charging system.

Battery : 48V

Charging voltage : 55V

Charging current : min 0.2A, typical : 0.4A, max : 0.5A

1. Do you have a sheet for calculating the parameter appropriate for the output voltage and current? If you don't have a parameter calculation sheet, can you tell me which point to change?

2. Can you tell me which block corresponds to the CC feedback loop?

    This design is 24V. Major changes would be needed to convert it to 48V, such as transformer change, checking for voltage for everything on the output side. Note: that most of the things on the 24V bus can't support 55V. The current range for this TIDA is overkill for your needs. 

    Here are designs that have at least 48V output at 0.5 Ampere. Many of these could provide 55V with a current limit.

    Thanks for your interest in our design.

    1. You can use the calculation excel of UCC25640x which you can find at the bottom of the product page http://www.ti.com/product/UCC256404/toolssoftware

    2. CC feedback loop includes the feedback loop amplifier and output current sense circuit which you can find in the schematic.
