Hi,
I know the hardware of the TIDA-01088 and TIDA-00601 are exactly the same. I used this reference design and got one of those boards with me. I was able to build/download/debug the msp430 with the provided software for TIDA-00601 by TI (at the bottom of the files/documents page). For the TIDA-00601, I can build the project, however, the Download and Debug buttom is greyed out. Since, I am able to do it for another software, I am pretty sure there is no problem for my JTAG connections and in general my hardware. I don't know why the Download/Debug is deactivated for me in IAR just with the TIDA-01088 and not with TIDA-00601. I would really appreciate any thoughts about this issue.
