Hello,

I am looking for 4 channel alternate of this TIDA-00550 Reference Design.

Is any TI reference available for 4 channel Universal Analog Input Module.

My requirement is 4 channel Universal Analog Input Module with RS 485 interface only.

so It would be better if the board has RS485 interface or also let me know if you have any idea about other reference design for rs485 interface with such Universal Analog Input Module.

    Hello Karun,

    thanks for using the E2E forum!

    We have only the 2-ch universal AIN reference design available, but TIDA-00550 can be easily extended to four channels.

    The MCU on the backplane, which controls the four channels, does not need to have four SPI if you either generate four independent CS signals with GPIOs or you multiplex the dedicated CS with a TMUX1204 or similar..

    The RS485 interface requires a RS232 interface on the MCU side. Please see the selection table for RS485 PHYs to select the right part.
