TIDA-00653: Schematic of Bi-Directional Firmware for TIDA-00653

Part Number: TIDA-00653

Hi,

I think these labels(Q6、Q7、Q10、Q13) have errors in this file(slua765a.pdf),Can you explain it to me?

Thanks!

  • HI Scarecrow,

Thanks for catching this. The schematic is correct, but the text paragraph is for earlier schematic version. We will fix this soon.

Figure 5 above shows the schematic for the power stage for a single phase. It uses two mosfets for the switching node. The active fet for BUCK mode is Q5. The fet Q6 is used as sync fet. During boost mode, the active fet is Q6. The Fet Q5 is used as sync fet. Following the switching node (TP 4) are the inductor and the oring fets. The oring fets are used to block any damaged phase and also to protect the controller in case the 12V battery was installed reversely. The fuses XF1 and XF2 provide safety especially when using the board with actual batteries.

    Regards,

    Sanatan
