WEBENCH® Tools/TL072: Add the PSpice Model to TINA

Part Number: TL072
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi Team,

My customer wants to use TINA to simulate the TL072, only find the PSpice model in ti.com.

How to import the  PSpice  model to Tina?

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Xing

  • Hi Xing,

You can import the PSpice model into TINA-TI by doing: Tools -> New Macro Wizard -> Give a name to your model, and choose the model file. TINA-TI accepts .cir, .lib, .mod and .txt netlist files.

In this case you will have to rename the Pspice netlist, to one of the above file extensions. Then choose a symbol for your op amp. This will generate a .TSM file that you can insert into your TINA-TI workspace.

I've done the above steps for you, and created a simple buffer circuit in TINA-TI. You can download the file here: TL070.TSC

Let us know if you've any other questions.

    Regards,
