Hi team,

Customer is evaluating our TIDA-00721. Their questions are summarized as below:

1. Do they need to power on the VCC? Because in some NFC, there is no need to power on. It can be powered by Induced EMF of RF signal.

2. They short D1 and D2 due to lack of diodes. When the mobile phone approaches the board, there is no reflection of the APP. Why?

3. Are there Chinese colleagues can support this case so that we can talk on Wechat?

    Thanks for the post - if customer has built their own copy of this reference example, and they want to power the reference via magnetic field coming from a handset, they do need to populate the diodes, as they serve as a rectifier with which DC is made for powering the board. This would be why it doesn't work with a handset, if the diodes are not there and the pads shorted out.
