PMP9353: Regarding EN pin of the sequencer LM3880MF-1AA

Hello

In sequencer LM3880MF-1AA, there is only 1 EN pin.So, in case if output sequence 1 has not reached the intended voltage level, then is there any mechanism to stop the sequence 2 from happening?

OR in other word, is execution of sequence 2 dependent on execution of sequence 1?

Where is signal "PG_1p1V'' (from IC LMZ31506RUQ) connected to ?

Hi Ashad,

The LM3880 is a very simple sequencing device. It only provides for a fixed delay and no dependencies.

So the EN2 and EN3 signals just come at a fixed delay after the EN1. Even if the supply is not at the right voltage yet, it will still try the second and third sequences.

It appears the power good signals are not used. This could be an alternative to ensure the voltages are at the right level.

As the output current is 6A which is very high compared to FPGA requirement, is there any IC other than LMZ31506RUQ having lower output current, to be used for supplying +1.1V to FPGA?
