TIDA-010016: How to create CCS project from TIDA-010016

Guru 10235 points
Part Number: TIDA-010016

Hello, Steffen Graf,

We continue to check the behavior of IO-Link Master(TIDA-010016) .

Now we are trying to merge below EtherCAT demo CCS project to TIDA-010016.

http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-industrial-sw/esd/PRU_ICSS_EtherCAT_Slave/latest/index_FDS.html

Result:

   - It seems to merge both project & build with no error.

   - But we found to exception after running.

So we tried to analyze root cause of this fail.

At first, we tried to create the CCS project from below ONLY gmake IO_Link_Master project.

   - gmake LIMIT_SOCS=am437x LIMIT_BOARDS=idkAM437x

Result:

   - It seems to success to build with no error.

   - But we cannot find proper behavior by connecting Autosen(AO001) to port 1.

(we cannot find "port 1 state changed" message in the teraterm console.)

Questions:

- Do you have same experience?

- Do you see any problem our attached CCS project?

- Do you see proper behavior on PRUSS on our CCS project?

We can success to run the demo by gmake IO_Link_Master project, as I said before.

But it seems not to run properly on our creating CCS project from related files(*.cfg, *c, *.h,*.aa9fg ..) from gmake project.

We would appreciate if you check the attached CCS project behavior with your TIDA-010016 environment.

Our trial condition:

 -CCS Version: 9.2.0.00013

 -PDK pdk_am437x_1_0_17

 -SYSBIOS bios_6_76_03_01

Best regards,
