Can you help me ?

I registered to download Pspice for TI yesterday, today morning I received TI sent me a email ,inside it having Access Key: c9de...50e0, Yang, Helios told me not to public here.

I downloaded the software succeed, tried to install it, but it says 'An internal error occurred. Please go to http://e2e.ti.com for further assistance.'

Yang, Helios told me to go here for help, he tried to help but he said he will not be able to.

Hi Iwan,

When did you get the error, after you entered the access key and before the installation started? Or was it after the installation completed?

I think it's 'after I entered the access key and before the installation started'.

I upload the screenshot below, the file name I downloaded is 'PSpice-For-TI_setup.exe'. The first step after I executed it is as below.

And it shows the error message ,too.

I have asked my IT colleague, he said that could possibly be a blocked network port by the company's firewall.

Can you provide some network port number, source/server zone/ip, etc ?

What is needed from us exactly? Are you saying that the installation program has restricted internet connection?

Hi JC,

I didn't mean the installation program has restricted internet connection, that restriction is from my company's.

But that's very common policy in network security to add network firewall protecting from mass hackers on-line. So my company's IT member suggests me, I think he means our company's IT policy can have some limiting rules of the firewall removed, for example: some IPs (of the program software source site) or ports used by the installation program of the domain to be allowed by adding into the rules set of the firewall. That will need me to send out a requisition through the internal process.

So that's why I ask if it's possible to have some useful information of those IPs, domains, ports, used by the installation program. That may helps to succeed finishing the installation.

Though this looks like caused by my company's , not caused by TI, but I think 'firewall' policy is very popular around the whole world, so I think maybe I won't be the only one who needs the solution. That makes me trying asking this.

I am really sorry so the inconvenient of those 'policy' conflicts.
