PMP12082: IEC61000-4-2, 4-4 and 4-5

Hello,

On one of our products we are looking to utilize the PM12082 and we see that there is a development board design around it.

Can you please confirm if this design will pass the IEC61000-4-2, 4-4 and 4-5 tests?

Those tests are mandatory for us to use the product.

Hi Neel,

The power supply hasn't been tested ESD (IEC61000-4-2), EFT(IEC61000-4-4), or lightning surge(IEC61000-4-5) as those tests are related not only power supply design but the overall system design.

For lightning surge, you will have to add varistor, add additional impedance (resistor, inductor, and/or common mode choke) from input to the rectifier to limit the surge energy pass through the power supply.
