  • Hello David,

Is the download file, sbac164g (1).zip in your "Download" directory? I just yesterday installed this tool on a Win 10 system.

What is the file size of the file? Right click then properties. Mine was 276 MB (289,692,272 bytes)

If that is OK, try again. Perhaps making a directory (not C: root) and unzip everything there and try to install from there.

Close all other programs before trying to install. Better yet, try to install after a reboot.

  • Hello Ronald,

Thank you very much for your attention to my problem.

I closed all of my files and re botted the computer, opened MS edge and down loaded the file from the TI web page.  The size of the file shown in the down load line is listed as 276 MB as it was for you. At the conclusion of the down load process the small window in the bottom left of the screen also showed 276 MB.

I had set the options on that little box as "Open when completed"

I opened the main file to reveal the install .exe file which resulted in the same error message.

I did not try your suggestion to use a different root directory as that sounded like it needed a skill greater than that which I have confidence in.

So if you cannot suggest an obvious solution, then I will understand your desire to help. Please advise.  If so I will then ask my remote computer support person if he can succeed.  He connects via Team Viewer.

    Best wishes

    David

  • Hello Ronald,

I replied earlier to your message above.  This is a different question which you may be able to assist with.

I have successfully down loaded Tina-TI.  However I suspect that I need a tutorial or similar document to advise me on how to start using it.

I cannot find anything like that in its own Help system.

    Any suggestions please ?

    Hope this helps,

  • David,

Your in house support person will be aware of your network and computer setups. His assistance should be very helpful.
