The choice of which driver to use depends on application requirements: UCC27531 is single channel with wider gate drive voltage 32V which makes it suitable for both IGBT, MOSFETs, while UCC27524 is 20V driver that can combine its dual channels to source/sink 10A peak current at the gate to drive high gate charge FETs in higher power applications.
