Tina, Flyback model for TPS40210

Has anyone made flyback spice model for Tina, based on TPS40210 or similar.

I have VIN = 10V to 35V with VOUT = 14V (0.3A). I could add 2nd stage for VOUT = - 14V but this is not important for this model.

I'm interested in optimising the close loop circuit and compensation circuit.

It could be similar to "tps40210_tina-ti_average_reference_design-b.tsc" but extended with flyback (non-isolated).

Hello Richard,

I just wanted to let you know that we are looking into this request. I'm not a flyback expert. I have forwarded this request to one of the engineers here that has done many flyback designs with the TPS40210. I basically asked him if he already has a reference design that he can share that would match closely with your requirements. I will let you know as soon as he responds.

As far as Tina goes. Our TPS40210 model should work fine but I don't believe that we have transformer models. I could see that being your biggest problem making this work.

Hello Richard,

Here is a reference design that might be helpful for you. PMP4218 REVB. It has some similar specs. Again. We have no Tina version of a reference design that is a TPS40210 Flyback.

I hope this helps you get started. If you can model the transformer correctly then you should be well on your way to a solution.
