I want to know what would be the inrush current at the startup based on Webench report?

Hi Sahol,
Are you still in device selecting stage? What's the target inrush current that you could select? Maybe you can look at TPS61378-Q1 which has soft start feature to limit the input inrush current.
LM2735 is a non-synchronous boost converter without soft-start feature so its inrush current may be high and is related to the selected inductor, output capacitance.
have done the layout of the board already. I have selected the IC for the following reasons
Least BOM count
Low profile components
Highest efficiency
Can you look at the parts I have selected and tell me estimated inrush current?
Im thinking it should be in between 1A-2A. Also I cant afford to go beyond that.
Also can you tell me the minimum input voltage for the IC to work properly?
I have designed for input voltage range of 3.3V - 3.7V
Can the IC work if the input voltage goes below 3.3V?
Hi Sahol,
The minimum input voltage is 2.7V.
There is no equations to calculate the inrush current.
You can use Pspice for TI to simulate the inrush current.
