TIDA-00951: TIDA-00951 LOW VOLTAGE MOSFET DRIVER WAS BURN

Part Number: TIDA-00951

Hi,

I am using Tıda-00951 2-kW, 48- to 400-V,Isolated Bidirectional DC-DC Converter with Tıda -00951 software, programming of the control card with the appropriate software.

I am using the tida-01281 board as the control card and tıda-01141, tida-01159 HV mosfet driver and current sensing.

After assembling all the cards I applied 36 volts to the battery input (J9, J 11) and I applied a 12-V auxiliary supply to connector J6. As soon as I turn on the power, the side of LV mosfet driver U8 is burned.

I was not applied VBUS voltage , and I am nat using electronik load.

Do I need to make a change through the software.

How can ı test of mosfet driver pwm signal, how shoud be pwm signal.

  • Hi,

Our engineer is taking him vacation and will come back tomorrow, he will reply you by tomorrow.

    thanks for your patience.

  • Hi,

I can not know what happened on your side with your descriptions.

But, you need to make sure everything fine before appling the battery power, such as sensing, drving, bias power and switching.

One point to you, is the drvier broken mostly because over voltage on Vcc or Output, you can check this in first.

    Sorry for hard to help.
