Hi TI
Recently I am doing a 3kW BLDC motor power supply with regenerative braking project with 48V battery then I found out PMP21529.
I wondering if PMP21529 support parallel current sharing features and is suitable for this application?

Hello,
PMP21529 is designed for a single battery charger, it does not have parallel current sharing feature. When charging the battery in CC charge mode, PMP21529 uses a current loop to charge the battery with a constant current.

Hi Bosheng
Thanks for replying
Is it able to parallel 2 ore more PMP21529 to provide more current?
Thanks
Hi Hoi, PMP21529 is not designed for parallel operation, it does not have current sharing function. If you put 2 in parallel, due to the hardware tolerance, one unit may provide more current than the other. Also, it is designed for battery charger, may not suitable for motor power supply.
