TIDA-00929: Residential circuits break design with AFCI and GFCI dual protections

Part Number: TIDA-00929
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE3010,

Hi!

I am planning to design the residential circuits breaker with both arc fault and ground fault circuits interrupt. Which reference design will fit both requirements?

I would like to have input range up to 360VAC and current limit up to 70A. Please also include the WiFi and eithernet chipsets as well.

If possible, could it possible to have an AE to set up a conference call?

  • Hi Yahsing,

Thanks for reaching out. For arranging a call with TI I would ask you to go through the sales in the region where you are located.

From a reference design perspective we don't have one board that can do both AFCI and GFCI. TIDA-00929 covers the arc detection and can be used. AFE3010 is a GFCI device that is a single chip solution for ground fault detection.
