Sensortag 2.0 antenna connector pigtail

Hi,

I would like to know which connector type is the one on SensorTag 2.0?

Do you know where can I buy a pigtail from this connector to SMA connector? I would like to add an external connector. Do I have to cut the connection to the onboard antenna (ANT5 resistor)?

If you look at the sensortag BOM, you see it is from Murata, partnumber BLM18HE152SN1D. Murata has connectors that fits. If using the correct connector, the PCB antenna is disconnected by itself, no need to remove components.

From the BOM the connector is
CONNECTOR COAX RF, STRAIGHT, FEMALE, SMD from HIROSE part number MS-156HF

So I'll try to get an adapter to SMA (MS-156-HRMJ-2)

Hi,
Don't you think MS-156-HRMJ-2 is quite expensive. I am thinking about remove MS-156HF and replace it with a IPEX connector which will be much cheap. IS this possible?

May I replace the uSMA connector MS-156HF with a IPEX connector which can be quite cheap than MS-156-HRMJ-2. Thanks a lot
