Hi, 

I am considering distance measurement technology.

Is there any plan to revive ToF, which was once implemented in the SDK?

Or is there a possibility of incorporating ranging technology such as HADM?

    We are not able to comment on our roadmap or any potential plans regarding HADM in a public forum. Please contact your TI sales engineer and we can have a conversation offline.

      what is the major limitation for apply ToF on 26X2 chip?   Is it due to the sampling frequency ?   I guess current chip can do at most 16MHz, which corresponding to 18 meter resolution.

    Hi Jet,

    Our device is capable of ToF type applications but we have focused our effort around ToF type applications to more standardized specifications within standards defining organizations. However, because of this, we are not able to comment on these types of technologies on a public forum at the time being but certainly the device is capable of much better resolution than 18m. If you're more curious about the work here, my recommendation is to become an associate member of the Bluetooth SIG to learn more.
