LMX9838-SW: How to use SimplyBlueCommander for EN 300 328 tests?

Hi.

We are aware that LMX9838 is obsolete. However, for our commercial reasons we are attempting to certify it ourselves to EN 300 328 2.2.2. As far as I know the only extra test - receiver blocking requires burst transmission of DH1 packets with PRBS9 payload on a single channel. From reading TI EN 300 328 2.1.1 compliance report I see that TI run this test using SimplyBlueCommander software and LMX9838 evaluation board. I am trying to do the same. I see one LMX9838 device transmitting the test pattern (as confirmed using RF spectrum analyser) but I am struggling to configure another LMX9838 to receive. Can you share details on how this was achieved during your work to achieve EN 300 328 2.1.1 compliance?

Thank you for your question. As you mentioned, this device was changed to the obsolete before. Unfortunately we do not have the information what you asked.

I was careful not to ask you for any new information but just to share what should exist anyway in TI archive. Unfortunately, this is not working to TI advantage and will make me think twice in the future before using or advising my colleagues to use any complex TI products.
