I've asked internally, and our design manager said that from a hardware perspective, the 26X2 is able to support a TCXO. But, you may have to configure the software yourself to do so. I'll forward this on to the SW team, and hopefully they can comment.

This is not a guarantee that the software will allow you to do all these things, but from a hardware perspective, it is possible. To find out if the software will allow it, you'll likely want to disable sysconfig if you can't select the appropriate settings in the instructions in 7.2. I would build the project once with the sysconfig settings and without the TCXO HF clock source to get the general settings you want for everything else, then disable sysconfig and alter the HF clock source settings by hand to force the device to use the TCXO. You can build a sample project with a 1312 or 1352 that uses the TCXO settings in sysconfig as a reference for which registers you'll want to alter.

besides of the feasibility and SW implementation, customer also would like to know the electronic spec. 

what's the recommended input amplitude?  and waveform? 

in the datasheet, we only can see Max rating: Voltage on crystal oscillator pins, X32K_Q1, X32K_Q2, X48M_N and X48M_P –0.3 VDDR + 0.3, max 2.25 V

For the waveform: the design guide linked above mentions CMOS and clipped sine waves.

For the recommended input amplitude: In the schematic, it seems the TCXO only takes an input VCC

I'd use those specs to guide you, as well as the specs of the TCXO used in the launchpad.
