CC2640R2F: SensorTag CCS files and Android Source Code

Hello,

I am trying to learn the Bluetooth communication protocol for the CC2640R2F chip. I am a complete beginner. I do have the launchPad for this chip. Recently, I have found this video from TI

It looks quite interesting. I was wondering whether it's possible to get the CCS project files and the Android Bluetooth App source code for the SensorTag. I followed the link provided on the video description but it seems broken. And also could not locate the product as well as the previously mentioned resources on the TI website.

Hello Ryan,

Thank you for your reply. I have tried downloading the git files from "SENSORTAG-SW" but all the git repository links are broken. I am not sure whether I am doing something wrong. I have attached some images to clarify which path I have followed to download the git files.

Also, it looks like TI has a couple of SensorTags but none of them are based on CC2640R2F. Will I still be able to build and execute the code on my CC2640R2F LaunchPad? I know that the CC2640R2F LaunchPad does not have any sensors. I also have the "Sensors BoosterPack" board. So do you think that I'll be able to run those codes if I use the sensor board?

You can download the repo from Branch -> master -> Initial release and the SIMPLELINK-SDK-SENSOR-ACTUATOR-PLUGIN can help with sensor code. You may also find the LPSTK-CC1352R (recommended development module) and/or sensortag-20-android to be helpful but unfortunately we cannot share the source code in sync with the SensorTag app in Google Play due to licensing restrictions.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I was mainly interested to study the source code or the CCS project files of the SensorTag. I do understand the licensing restrictions but are there any other similar example projects available, from which I can study the source code, to send multiple sensor data over Bluetooth?

SensorTag example projects are distributed as part of the BLE-STACK software download package.
