CC2642R: Sniffer tool which is able to capture BLE5.1(long range packets)

Hello Experts,

Our customer is developing their system with CC2642R, and they are looking for Sniffer tool which is able to capture BLE5.1(long range) packets. Would TI have any Sniffer tool/environment?

Can I have your expert's advice/comments on this, please?

Thank you for your comments.

I believe the latest BLE5-Stack (v 2.02.02.00 ) is supporting Long Range (LE Coded 125 kbps and 500 kbps PHYs). But, as far as I checked “SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2 User Guide”, it seems, this sniffer2 does not support BLE Long Range Packet yet. Is that correct?

Hi Miyazaki,

You are correct; after taking another look, the Smart RF Packet Sniffer 2 does not support BLE long range packets yet. My apologies for the incorrect information. After talking to some of my colleagues, we recommend the BLE sniffers by Ellisys. They should be capable of sniffing out BLE 5.1 long range packets.
