I have take an example project say Multirole from 'TI' folder to my personal folder,when I have pulled it out of TI folder and imported the project into Code Composer Studio then its Syscfg version is changed to 1.8.0,but while building the project it needs Syscfg 1.8.2 so everytime I import the project I need to change the Syscfg version for both Release and Debug .So is there any alternative to escape this kind of work of changing Syscfg.

Hi,

The best solution would be to install SysConfig 1.8.2 as recommended in the release notes of the SDK. In general, the proper SysConfig version gets installed at the time as the SDK. Maybe you could try to reinstall the SDK. You could also try to install directly SysConfig v1.8.2 (https://www.ti.com/tool/download/SYSCONFIG/1.8.2_1992)

Let me explain things in detail

When I try to build a project which is taken from SDK examples without changing the path(i.e., it is in the path C:\ti\simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_5_20_00_52\examples\rtos\CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL\ble5stack) then I don't need to change the Syscfg version.By default it is taking Syscfg version 1.8.2 and building successfully.

But when I change the project's path, pull it out of ti folder by default it is taking syscfg version as 1.8.0,which won't build.So everytime I import the project it is expecting me to change the Syscfg version from project properties for both Release and Debug modes.

So I need a way so that whenever I import a project from other than a ti folder I want it to take default syscfg version as 1.8.2.

Can I do anything in projectspec or any other changes please suggest me.

Hi,

Thank you for the details provided.

I guess you could uninstall the unused SysConfig versions.

Other than that I am not sure what are your options. So I have asked a colleague to comment.

Yes, you can specify a version for a product in the projectspec file.
