New to the TI DMM architecture and have been reviewing DMM documentation and I am wanting to develop a DMM with BLE+WSN Concentrator solution. But have some initial questions regarding the architecture

Is it possibly to have DMM with BLE+WSN Concentrator, I know there is an example for the DMM BLE+WSN Node? I have gone through both of the RF Node & Concentrator examples see minimum difference, so that makes me think that adding BLE with DMM would be feasible.
1. When developing DMM
  BLE+WSN Concentrator and selecting a supported stack should I use the

DMMPolicy_StackRole_WsnNode 
```
  stack role or should I use
```
DMMPolicy_StackRole_custom1
```
  , which both defined in the
```
dmm_policy.h
```
  .
2. Does combining DMM BLE+WSN Concentrator fall into the Protocol Stack Limitations Category (specified in the DMM User Guide)

1. Yes, even though we don't have an example for this in the SDK I believe you should be able to make this yourself.

a. Use the custom role.

b. You should think about the implementation of the WSN Concentrator before you embark on this project. How much time does the device spend in Rx? How much time is left for BLE?

Thank you for such a quick response and providing additional information. You also asked a very good question.

For my deployment it is important for the concentrator to be able to communicate with multiple nodes. I will need to do more digging in the guides to learn more of the timing requirements needed for each stack to be able to perform its task without performance issues. But with the information I do I have, I don't think that my concentrator device will be sitting in Rx for long periods of time. What think is would be more of a call and response, where the concentrator is only in Rx (waiting for node response) after it has Tx'd a message to a node. The longest time if foresee it sitting in Rx mode would be if no nodes are connected and the concentrator Tx'd a "who's there" message. Does this seem less issue prone?

Hi Corey,

Did you look into the TI 15.4-Stack? If you need more "advanced" network functionality such as retries, frequency hopping, csma, oad, encrypted link etc you might be interested in this stack.

After doing some investigation and testting with the example of the TI 15.4 Stack and the Wi-SUN FAN architecture, I think this might the route pursue. Thank you for your help
