CC2640R2F: CC2640 power consumption

I am comparing the power consumption of a custom board and a launchpad for the pin standby example. While the launchpad draws a modes 10µA, my custom board ends up drawing as much as 260µA. This happens with three boards. I was wondering if there is some setting I have missed. Is there a way to verify that the µC was indeed in standby and not just in Idle? Does someone have any similar experiences with current consumption? The reason I am stumped is because there are barely any other components on the board which could drive the consumption so high.

Any ideas or tips are appreciated.

An additional bit of Info here. I am using a chip with the label CC2640Q1-R2F on my custom board and a regular CC2640R2F on the launchpad. Could that somehow play a role?

Hi,

I don't see any significant differences in power consumption between the automotive "Q1" and the regular versions for standby, therefore the issue might be somewhere else.

Hi,

we are thinking on similar lines now. There are a couple of dubious resistances on the board which we think might be contributing to the problem. We are currently in the process of eliminating possible causes and I shall post here once we have a definite answer.
