LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: Sample rate for acquiring IQ data

The IQ acquisition procedure is as follows:

The sample_rate is set to 1Mhz in the related documentation. However, the actual collected IQ data received is 150 per second, the three antennas collect 50 each. 4455 data is accepted in 30 seconds, please see the figure below:

The customer would like to know what's the possible reason for that.

    Hi,

    Please note that we are talking here about the sampling rate of the CTEs.

    The CTEs are not transmitted continuously, they are appended to some Bluetooth LE packets.

    The number of samples collected per second depends on

    • the sampling frequency
    • the interval between the packets with an appended CTE
    • the length of the CTEs

    Please refer to the RTLS Toolbox documentation for more details.
