CC2642R-Q1: CC2642 LauchPad XDS110 UART couldn't open

hello, I use the CC2642R1 LaunchPad, the board XDS110 Emulator can download and work wonderful, but the UART port Couldn't open by SSCOM or SecureCRT,

but the virtual UART port could show in the PC resouceManager(as below ).

I could see the uart debug data throuth the TX port connect to other USB-UART device. it seem that the XDS110 Virtual UART can't work on the PC.

is there any help to resolve this problem?

Make sure you don't have CCS, Flash Programmer 2, or Uniflash running in the background.

when I close the CCS, it can work. why?

can I use the uartCom while I use the CCS? (This is the most common scenario)

You can start COM tool and connect to your LaunchPad first. After that, you still can start CCS to do whatever you want.

Hi zhao,

CCS has its own Terminal View which you must make sure is not connected to the virtual COM port. You may also find the Debug Printing or Bluetooth 5 SimpleLink Academy Labs to be helpful.
