Dear TI engineering team,

I read a technical article about automotive PEPS systems from the TI website. I think CC2640R2F-Q1 is suitable as a receiver module in the car, but CC2640R2F-Q1 does not integrate a low-frequency transceiver function (125KHZ or 134KHZ), so PEPS ECU should add an RFID low-frequency transceiver to realize this function. But if I want to design a keyless passive start system for motorcycles, do I need to use the same solution? Or do I just need to use CC2640SR2F-Q1? Does TI have other suitable solutions for keyless unlocking and starting of motorcycles? Looking forward to your suggestions, thank you very much!

Hi Rogers,

The CC2640R2F is a BLE device that can be used for BLE car access. It does not support LF. The LF portion would need to be managed by another IC.
