LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: BTOOL testing issue in DTM mode.

Hi,

I am trying to connect CC26X2R1 LP with CC2652RB LP using BTOOL. I have used host_test (DTM mode)project from simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_10_00_78 and flashed on CC26X2R1 LP. Similarly on CC2652RB i have flashed simple_periheral example project.

When i connect BTOOL to CC26X2R1 LP i see "Device Reset Timeout" error.

Later when i click on Scan button in BTOOL the CC2652RB device is not visible in the scanned device list. I am able to see CC2652RB beacons on BLE scanner app.

Need help in debugging this issue.

    Hi Pratik,

    It looks like the commands sent to the CC26x2R device are not properly received. Here is a list of the elements you may want to verify:

    • Once the device has been flashed, make sure to unplug the device and re-plug it.
    • Please verify you are using the proper COM port to interface the device and that is properly set. Below are the settings I am using.
    • Check if all the jumpers - especially the jumpers named "Rx" and "Tx" - are properly set.
    • Try to reset the device using the reset button on the launchpad
