BT-MSPAUDSOURCE: Digital Stethoscope

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to develop a digital stethoscope and is looking for a readily available evaluation module. Since the C5515 EVM has been obsoleted a few years ago, he is considering the BT-MSPAUDSOURCE evaluation module. Can this module be use as digital stethoscope with the addition of pre-amp and low pass filter used in the application report below? Aside from those components, are there other parts that should be added to the MSPAUDSOURCE evaluation module?

Hello Danilo,

Looking at the CC5515 digital stethoscope kit, it seems that it needs few pre-amps, filters before going to audio codec. Since BT-MSPAUDSOURCE board already has audio ADC included, we should be good to go.

However I would like to highlight one thing: In the CC5515 kit, there are three modes mentioned (Bell mode, Diaphragm mode, Extended mode), which need three different paths at the input. Due to this, the CODEC also needs to support three inputs (IN1x, IN2x & IN3x) as shown in the schematic of CC5515 kit schematic.
