CC2640R2F: The difference between BLE SDK vs SimpleLink SDK

Part Number: CC2640R2F
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BLE-STACK, CC2650, CC2640, CC2541, CC2540, SIMPLELINK-CC2640R2-SDK, CC2640R2L, , CC1312R, CC1352R, CC1352P, CC2642R, CC2652P, CC2652R, SIMPLELINK-CC13XX-CC26XX-SDK

Hi, I've been examining this document:
[FAQ] Bluetooth Low Energy – unexpected public key crash (SweynTooth) - Bluetooth forum - Bluetooth®︎ - TI E2E support forums

and I am confused about SDK's and versions..

There is a BLE-STACK:
BLE-STACK Driver or library | TI.com

And there is SimpleLink SDK:
SIMPLELINK-CC2640R2-SDK Software development kit (SDK) | TI.com

Ble Stack has version 2.2. SimpleLink has 5.30.00.03. If I install Ble Stack, it also installs as "simplelink".. They claim similar features. What's the difference? If the SimpleLink SDK is 5.30.00.03, what's the BLE stack version?

Kind regards,
