CC2540: Wired USB HID Example

Dear expert

Customer product need connect CC2540 with PC by Wired USB and CC2540 work as HID Node device. We cannot find such function example project in BLE-CC254x Stack SDK, could you help advice where we can get example project for reference? or where can get document for CC2540 USB function development usage guide?

Customer try develop firmware and send data to PC by using below API function "hidSendHidInReport()", however so far the PC only can receive the 1st byte then cannot receive any more data. May we get your help check if the API function usage is correct?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out.

If possible, I would recommend to specify the BLE stack and SDK versions used.

I would also recommend to verify if the value returned by the function hidSendHidInReport could indicate the issue.

customer use the sdk BLE-CC254X-1.5.2.0

After refer the post you recommend, we change the code if(hidSendHidInReport) to while(hidSendHidInReport), then now can continue send data to PC.

However we found the wait time for while(hidSendHidInReport) is too long and need 8ms, may you advice how setting can shorten the waiting time?

Hi,

Glad to see the first issue is solved.

Could the delay be coming from the end point configuration? For example, I read in the thread I have pointed to, the delay is set to 10 ms. Could you please verify if something could be done there?
