CC2650STK: Reading Movement Data from SensorTag

I am working on a research project using CC2650STK and I'm pretty weak at coding. I had been trying to read the accelerometer and gyroscope data in Python from Raspberry Pi for performing some Machine Learning study.

Is there a proper document which gives information on how to read the data and infer it.

Hi Georgy,

You can refer to the SensorTag Design Guide, BLE-STACK, and CC2650 Driver Examples. You will have to figure the Raspberry Pi setup as a BLE central for your SensorTag peripheral to connect to. There are several similar projects (second example) and Raspberry Pi forum threads to help you in this regard. I'd personally recommend upgrading to the LPSTK-CC1352R which features the latest software updates and a newer SimpleLink device.

How can we control the sampling rate of Acclerometer and Gyroscope. Also, is there a way to send timestamp also from the SensorTag.

You can contact Invensense for details regarding MPU-9250 control, and BLE-STACK-2-X/TI-RTOS for CC2650 for Timestamp resources.
