Hi team,

SDK:simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_6_10_00_29.

examples:simple_central and simple_peripheral

The Customer used two LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 boards to test Connectable directed advertising.

He found no advertisement and wasn't able to connect to Central successfully. I can reproduce this.

the following is sysconfig settings:

advParams1:

Legacy Event Properties Option: Connectable directed

Peer Address Type: Public Or Public ID

Peer Address: 80:6F:B0:2B:33:10 (This is the Dev Addr of simple_central: 0x806FB02B3310)

Filter Policy: Process requests from all devices

Both the Central and Peripheral are set to Public Address.

Could you help to check this?

Hi Kevin,

The address must be flipped in the Peer Address field of SysConfig. You have it entered as: 80:6f:b0:ee:b3:a9. Can you try setting it as a9:b3:ee:b0:80 and retesting? Also make sure not to load or enable scan responses on the advertising handle that is advertising in directed advertising.
