Hi Lindsey,
The CC2642R1 and CC2642R-Q1 are indeed pin-to-pin/footprint compatible.
RGZ = 48-pin VQFN (Very Thin Quad Flatpack No-Lead)
RTC = 48-pin VQFN (Very Thin Quad Flatpack)
Section 8.8, 8.9, and 8.12 of the Datasheet shows the thermal, BLE, and temp sensor characteristic differences between the RTC and RGZ packages.
Regards,
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
Thank you for your answer ,
We want to use CC2642R1TWFRTCRQ1 as alternate part of CC2642R1FRGZR, Do you know if this will have a inpact on the BLE certification?
Regards!
It should not, however I will pass this to BLE experts to further comment.
Regards,
Ryan
Hi,
There should be no impact on BLE Certification if you use the alternate, as Ryan mentioned. (Thanks, Ryan!)
Best Regards,
Jan
Hi,
There should be no impact. :)
However, please discuss this with your test house for final confirmation.
Best Regards,
Jan
