CC2564CSTBTBLESW: Frequency Correction & RF Calibration in Production Line.

Part Number: CC2564CSTBTBLESW
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2564

Hi TI team,

We have developed a BT+ BLE dual-mode device. We are going for the production now. We like to do some Production Line Tests and device RF calibrations before shipping the devices.

One mandatory Test(other than TX and RX) suggested by the Production house is the RF calibration test.

There they want to get the frequency offset of the device and with respect to the measured offsets, the new value needs to be written to the HW for the frequency correction.

If we are not performing that procedure, the Production House won't give any guarantee for the RF performance of the device.

For clarity on the issue, I am attaching the Response from Production House below.

"Frequency correction is a normal calibration for Bluetooth headphones. Because the parameter of crystal and parasitic capacitance is a little different between each PCB'S. Please check with the chipset manufacturer, they should provide the relevant tools or commands to do this"

Does TI have any tools or Vendor-Specific Commands to do that? I was not able to find anything on this.

VishnuPrasad
